Joel was given a copy of the Book of Mormon and was eager to learn more. He began reading it and felt excited about what he was discovering. The missionaries shared with him the message of the Restoration and invited him to pray and ask God if what he had learned was true. Joel felt a strong desire for his family in Kisii to hear this message as well, so the missionaries helped connect him with Elders serving in that area who could teach his loved ones.
