“Gathering Israel” is a phrase from scripture and Latter-day Saint teaching. “Israel” here means God’s covenant people — a family of faith, not a nationality. To “gather” Israel is to help people come to know Jesus Christ and choose to follow Him.
We took the name because it captures what inspires us. But the gathering itself is the Lord’s work, through His authorized Church — our small contribution is to help sincere seekers take a first step and, when they’re ready, connect with missionaries.
We are inspired by prophetic invitations for members to share the gospel. Our role is to help interested people encounter the message of Jesus Christ and connect with official Church resources.
